My latest drama crush is of course the “it” drama of end 2010 which is Secret Garden. Below are the details via dramawiki:

Synopsis

The drama tells the story of Kim Joo Won (Hyun Bin), an arrogant and eccentric CEO who maintains the image of seeming perfection, and Gil Ra Im (Ha Ji Won), a poor and humble stuntwoman whose beauty and body are the object of envy amongst top actresses. Their accidental meeting, when Joo Won mistakes Ra Im for actress Park Chae Rin, marks the beginning of a tense, bickering relationship, through which Joo Won tries to hide a growing attraction to Ra Im that both confuses and disturbs him. To complicate matters further, a strange sequence of events results in them swapping bodies.

People in the forums are compared Joo Won (hyun bin character) as Mr. Darcy which made me so curious that I ended up watching “Pride & Prejudice” and boy, I ♥ it very much. Yes, I know I’ve been living under the cave for not knowing the story of this so popular novel by Jane Austen “Pride & Prejudice”. But it’s better late than never, isn’t it???

Great chemistry between the leads, superb dialogue and Hyun Bin played the twisted character so well that makes me fall in love with him all over again since MNIKSS (My Name is Kim Sam Soon).

This drama is so very effing addicting that weekends seem so much further away. Aisshh, the agony of waiting!! :(  I’m being so impatient that I watch the raw version even though I don’t understand 98% of the dialogue….

Thank god there’s soompi, dramabeans, hellochloe and softy to enlighten me until waiting for the subs to be available at kimchidrama .

This drama serves us different type of story; boys stories in the first half and the later half for the girls stories and how ‘fate’ met them at the end of the episode. All cast were using their real names, which is quite unique and interesting.

Honestly, I got little bit boring for the first 6 episodes karena kelamaan nungguin kapan the lead couple ketemu. Once they met, ceritanya jadi menarik & addictive. Great soundtrack for sure!! Two thumps up for the music director. Every song was perfectly put and suits the story very well.

My favorite scene would be the bench scene when Shin Dong-wook & Lee Soo-kyung firstly met, it tore my heart out… *sob*

The ending keeps you hanging and dying for more… too bad, there won’t be any season 2, I guess I’ll use my own fantasy to get my own happy ending

Personally, do you believe in soulmate? I think the possibility is about one in a million. Skeptical? Yeah, I am.

But anything CAN happen in the drama land…

Mereka berencana menambah satu orang personel lagi. Melalui audisi, akhirnya president Ahn memutuskan Go Mi Nam (Park Shin Ye) sebagai anggota baru A.N.JELL. Tetapi karena Go Mi Nam sakit, akhirnya manager Ma membujuk saudara kembar perempuannya Go Mi Nyeo (diperankan oleh Park Shin Ye juga) seorang apprentice nun yang lugu untuk menyamar sebagai Go Mi Nam sampai the real Go Mi Nam kembali. Chaos & drama terjadi karena dalam prosesnya semua personnel A.N.JELL jatuh cinta kepada Go Mi Nam. Masalah bertambah ruwet antara Hwang Tae Kyung & Go Mi Nam dikarenakan masa lalu mereka yang pahit.

This is the first on-going Kdrama yang aq ikutin, dan rasanya amat sangat menyiksa!!  The agony of waiting for the next episode, it’s torturing indeed. Duh, kapok rasanya, hari rabu & kamis jadi berasa weekend!! But I really like this drama, ceritanya bagus & pemainnya juga okeh punya (two thumbs up in Mi Nam style!!). Gak nyesel nontonnya, meskipun agak gak sabar nunggu versi subnya. Tapi nggak ilang akal, nonton versi rawnya via youtube in the morning dan nunggu javabeans yang baik hati buat recapnya. I’m one of the YBaddicts and proud!!

OST nya juga ciamik abis and sang by the cast itself. Kalo lagi mellow, try to listen to Good Bye song by Jang Geun Suk.

Jang Geun Seok made me fall in love with him, with his baritone voice and sneer smile… Pokoknya T.O.P  B.G.T deh.. Despite the low rating in Korea, drama ini is a hit in the online sites and forums. Highly recommended!!

This drama is going to end on this week…*sob* A.N.JELL, I’m surely gonna miss you!!!

UPDATE: Don’t expect too much from the final episode, cause I did and left unsatisfied…

Seri Pamungkas 2009 milik Pedrosa

Tampil superior di sesi latihan & kualifikasi ternyata nggak menjamin jadi juara. Buktinya Casey Stoner yang sukses start di pole, terpaksa harus “pensiun” bahkan sebelum lomba dimulai gara-gara terjatuh saat warm up lap. Ban yang dingin jadi kambing hitam kegagalan Stoner di seri penutup 2009 ini.

Pedrosa yang start di posisi 2 pun tak menyia-nyiakan kesempatan dengan startnya yang apik dan langsung melesat memimpin lomba dari awal hingga akhir lomba, disusul Rossi dan Lorenzo di posisi 2 dan 3.

Ben spies, sang juara Superbike 2009 yang akan memperkuat Yamaha Tech3 musim depan, ikut lomba sebagai wild card dengan sukses finish di posisi 7 dari posisi start ke 10. Cukup lumayan untuk seorang Rookie.

Hasil akhir klasemen pembalap MotoGP 2009:

Tahun depan MotoGP dijamin lebih seru dengan masuknya Spies, Simoncelli dan juga Juara kelas 250cc 2009 (the last champion karena tahun depan ajang ini akan berganti menjadi Moto2) H. Aoyama.

Stoner Menang, Rossi Juara Dunia

Setelah sempet ditunda 15 menit karena turun hujan, akhirnya lomba dimulai dengan Rossi start di pole position. Malang bagi Lorenzo, karena masalah pada motornya, dia terlambat parkir di starting grid dan akhirnya harus merelakan posisi start 2 miliknya dikosongkan karena terkena pinalti start di posisi paling buncit.

Rossi pun tak lepas dari masalah karena selepas start dia bikin kesalahan di tikungan awal sehingga posisinya langsung melorot ke posisi 8. Lorenzo justru tampil ciamik dengan meringsek ke posisi 10, bahkan di lap ke dua sudah berhasil menyalip Rossi di posisi 6.

Sampai lap ke 14, komposisi pembalap adalah Stoner yang telah memimpin lomba sejak lap 2, Pedrosa, Dovisiozo, Rossi dan Lorenzo.

Rossi akhirnya mampu menyelesaikan lomba di posisi 3, dengan “bantuan” Dovisiozo yang nyungsep di gravel di lap 15, posisi yang sudah cukup untuk menasbihkan dirinya sebagai Juara Dunia MotoGP 2009. Juara dunia ke-7 bagi Rossi di kelas utama MotoGP dan total ke-9 di seluruh kelas MotoGP. Bravo Rossi!!

Stoner Perkasa, Lorenzo Merana, Rossi (hampir) Juara

Ekspektasi public tuan rumah agar jagoannya jadi kampium dijawab dengan lunas oleh sang juara 2007 Casey Stoner. Mengawali lomba dari pole position, Stoner tak terkejar oleh semua rival-rivalnya dari mulai lap 2 hingga finish. Praktis persaingan hanya terjadi di lap awal. Stonerpun sukses hattrick juara dari tahun 2007, 2008 & 2009 dan berhasil menggeser posisi Pedrosa dari posisi 3 klasemen sementara pembalap. Pedrosa sendiri sukses menggondol podium 3 di MotoGP Australia ini.

Lorenzo yang tampil sangat perkasa di MotoGP Estoril tanggal 4 Oct kemaren (gak jadi bikin note karena PLN yang sedang byar-pyet), harus menelan pil pahit karena bikin kesalahan di lap awal dengan menabrak ban belakang Hayden sehingga rem depan dia rusak dan diapun nyungsep di gravel dengan dahsyatnya. Walhasil diapun tak bisa melanjutkan lomba dan kans juara makin menipis karena di hari itu walaupun Rossi “hanya” finish urutan 2, tapi tambahan 20 poin membuat jarak poin dengan Lorenzo makin melebar menjadi 38 poin. Dengan hanya perlu finish urutan 4 di MotoGP Sepang minggu depan, Oct 25, Rossi pun dipastikan menjadi juara dunia MotoGP 2009.

Akhirnya pilihannya jatuh ke Dalja’s Spring (2007) & City Hall (2009) karena review yang bagus dari forum² drama addicts bikin aq tertarik buat nonton, dan terbukti nggak nyesel banget mantengin layar monitor sampe mata belekan…

Kalau aq baca sinopsis awalnya aq pikir akan ada persaingan antara Eum Ki Jeong dan Kang Tae Bong buat ngerebutin Dal Ja, tapi ternyata sejak awal hati Dal Ja sudah lebih memilih Kang Tae Bong.

Drama ini fresh and fun, adorable main couple, amusing side characters, walaupun endingnya gak terlalu “gimana” gitu (spoiler alert; no wedding bell), tapi aq masih puas nontonnya…

• City Hall (2009)

Synopsis:

City Hall is a drama that will deal with politics in a romantic comedy genre. It’s about the happenings between a young woman mayor and an elite bureaucrat. Jo Gook (Cha Seung Won) is an exceedingly smart government official. He passed the Higher Civil Service quickly, and basically is the perfect guy. But being a deputy mayor is not enough for him. He lives with the dream of becoming South Korea’s President. He should have easily gone straight to the top, but due to an unexpected incident, he gets dispatched as a deputy mayor for a provincial small town, Inju City, where Shin Mi Rae (Kim Sun Ah) was working. Shin Mi Rae is a low-ranking secretary in Inju, but she works her way up in becoming the youngest City Mayor. As their paths met, they have to deal with each other’s personal and social differences. But despite their constant bickerings, would they end up in each other’s arms?

Perfect cast, perfect soundtrack (my favorite is BOORANHAN SARANG by Horan of Clazziquai) and also great chemistry between the lead stars, definitely one of my favorite K-Drama’s couples…^^

Jo Gook-Shin Mi Rae

Kim Sun Ah is one of the most talented actresses in Korea. Jadi ya nggak diragukan lagi kualitas aktingnya, apalagi waktu scene dia dilemparin puluhan telur..>_< so touching, and successfully made me cry (as always!!). I’m one of her fans since My Lovely Sam Soon.

Satu hal lagi yang bikin aq jatuh cinta dengan drama ini adalah the male lead star, Cha Seung Won. Oh my god, klepek-klepek rasanya… Walopun aq belum familiar dengan mukanya karena belum pernah nonton film/drama dia, menurutku he’s the perfect 10/10; wajah, postur, suara, even his smirk makes me melt *tsaaaah*… apalagi kalo pake setelan suit itu..ommmooo… as if he was born with the suit..
